I need to decide which Fit to keep. I really love both, but it’s time to sell one. The 2011 has an automatic which my wife likes, and the 2015 is a 6-speed that I just brought back to its original silver. What do you all think I should do?
Dude… the wisdom from past generations tells us that a happy wife means peace at home. So why not teach her to drive a stick shift?

You got me there. I tried a couple of times, but she’s just not that into it.
@Kiran
Looks like you should get started on that K-swap then. Those are awesome cars. Much respect.

I’m planning to get into it this weekend and remove the hybrid system. Thanks for the support.
@Kiran
Do you live somewhere with snow? If yes, maybe take both Fits into deep snow and show her how easy it is to get a manual out of it.
I have to say I’m a bit biased. A manual Fit is hard to beat. I’d definitely keep the GK5.

Totally agree, I’d miss driving it daily. Luckily, I have a project CR-Z that’s a manual, so that helps a bit.
@Kiran
With that in mind, definitely stick with the GK.
@Kiran
You’ve got a CR-Z too? I love my Fit, but sometimes I miss my old CR-Z. Since you have a manual car already, I’d keep the GE. They can share some parts too.

I do! It’s getting a K-swap this winter. It should be a fun ride, even if not all the time. Turns out I really like mid-2010s Hondas.
@Kiran
I get it. I traded in my 2015 CR-Z for a 2022 Subaru WRX, but ended up trading that for my 2013 Fit. I just missed having a manual Honda hatchback too much. We definitely share the same taste.

It seems so! I really love the Fits for their fun driving experience and great practicality. The CR-Z isn’t as spacious, so it makes sense to keep it as my fun car.

I’ve got one too. First 6-speed with a proper roof rack. It’s amazing.
The 2nd Gen still has the rally frame and rear suspension, plus no direct injection. I’d go with that one.

Good point about the injectors. The 2015 hasn’t had any problems yet, but it’s getting close to the recall mileage and I know that replacement can be pricey.
2nd Gen is the peak Fit.
Definitely keep the lower one.
I’d choose the GE, even if it’s an automatic. I would’ve liked an automatic for the convenience and paddle shifters. Your GK looks nice, though I’m not a big fan of that one. Tough choice.

I do like that the GE Sport has paddle shifters and Sport mode. I have Swift springs and other upgrades, so it’s still fun to drive.
