What’s the Best Wireless CarPlay Option for 2025?

If it’s not built into your car, the delay isn’t worth it compared to wired. You will notice the lag, especially with music streaming apps.

This delay is a dealbreaker for me too, and I always plug in my phone with a wired connection. If you use social media or YouTube (while parked, of course), the audio always lags behind the video. The quality is also lower compared to wired audio, at least with the wireless adapter I use.

Check out the ZZ2 CarPlay adapter.

I’m not a fan of wireless CarPlay. It’s just too slow and delayed. Wired CarPlay doesn’t have these issues, plus it charges your phone while using it, which is a small bonus. I drive long distances, and I’m always switching songs and using GPS. The lag when switching songs and the delay in GPS is pretty bad. I’ve tried multiple OEM wireless CarPlay systems from Toyota, Honda, and others. They were all delayed. I also tried two different dongles, but both had the same issue.

There are full aftermarket stereos with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I’ve had mine for 2 years, and it’s still working perfectly.

Just use a wire.

I’m not commenting on the CarPlay, just wanted to say that the wheel and tire setup looks amazing! It looks so good.

It looks like you’re missing a lug nut on the front wheel?
