Thinking about getting Borla Exhaust for my 2017 Accord Coupe V6 … Is it worth it?

This is my new ride V6 Accord Touring. I’ve had it for 4 months and I want more power. I’m thinking about getting a K&N cold air intake and Ktuner, but I’m unsure about the exhaust. I don’t want it to be loud. Even with resonators, I don’t want to attract too much attention.

Is it worth the extra horsepower? Will I notice the difference? With installation, it’s around $1600.

The car has 18,000 miles.

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

I wouldn’t ask here. People don’t think any mods are good, even if you want to personalize your car.

Nothing really adds horsepower, and nothing gives you better mpg. If it does, it might hurt your car.

Yes

Exhausts don’t really add noticeable horsepower.

I think it will at least sound nice.

I have a full catless exhaust on mine, and I can share my experience:

The Borla axle-back mufflers give a good volume. It’s loud enough to sound nice but not as loud as sports cars. It’s a great choice for a fun daily driver, which I think is what you want.

I started with the Borla mufflers, but it was too quiet, so I switched to a full RV6 exhaust. It sounded amazing but was super raspy. Then I went catless for better performance, and it’s LOUD. Like, too loud, honestly.

I’m commenting again to clear up some confusion.

My car has a full catless exhaust, Takeda intake, and PNP manifold. These plus a good dyno tune made 320HP, which is very noticeable compared to stock.

Some other important mods include coilovers, and I think the best mod is a Progress 25.4mm rear sway bar. You can install it yourself in about an hour with basic tools, and it will greatly improve your car’s handling. It really makes the car feel more responsive and boosts your confidence when driving fast. Good luck, and I look forward to your build! If you have questions or want advice, DM me. I’ve spent years researching this car and have learned a lot.
