I found this car for 13.5k AUD, and it has 129k km on it. It’s my first car, and I’m not sure if this is a good deal. Any advice?
Yeah, sounds like a solid deal, but try offering 12k first.

The original price was 16k, and I got them to come down to 13.5k. The seller says that’s the lowest they’ll take. I’ll try to negotiate more when we meet. Thanks for the advice!
@Shawn
Good job negotiating so far! When you go to meet, bring the cash in parts—12k in one pocket, 500 in another, and so on. Start by offering 12k, and if they say no, add a bit more each time. They might settle lower than 13.5k. Good luck!
@Nico
Thanks! I’ll give it a shot. I’m not great at negotiating—it feels like I’m being pushy—but I’ll try my best.

Don’t worry about feeling bad! Sellers always try to get as much as they can, and it’s your money on the line. Look at it as a way to improve your skills. You’ve got this!
@Nico
Appreciate it
Go for it! Looks like a great car.

Thanks, I think I will!
First car? I’d say don’t buy it.
Careful… older Hondas with mods can attract police attention. Between that and insurance costs, you might end up spending more than you think. I’d suggest something less flashy, maybe a Mazda 6 GT.

Wow, way to overthink it. Chill out.
@Frances
Yeah, that was a bit much to read through.

Lol, I think I’ll be okay. Thanks for the warning, though.
