They might not match perfectly in color, but their price and how well they fit make up for it!

Thinking about repainting them, what color do you think would look best?

@Adrian
Bronze, maybe a lighter shade. It looks stunning and gives a JDM vibe to these cars. I’m really into this model too, it’s so sleek.

I wanted to get T37s in bronze, but they are just too pricey.

@Ellis
What I have is a gold-ish color with black splatters. From a distance, they look brownish too. Maybe I should keep them like that…

Edit: They actually look way better in person than in the photos.

@Adrian
You should powdercoat them, painting is not the best option unless they’re just for show and not daily driving.

For a similar color, try a lighter shade of vegas gold, straw, or bronze.

Two-tone could also look cool. You could match them to the car’s color and then use a neo chrome clear topcoat for a unique look.

If you like a satin or matte finish, I’d suggest going a bit lighter in shade.

Wow, those are great ideas! I’ll consider them if I can afford it, since I’m not skilled enough to try this myself.

Not sure about prices in your area, but depending on the type of powdercoat you want (color, finish, multi-layer, etc.), it might be around $500 or less. For me, it’s worth it for the durability. A lot of the cost comes from prep work and sandblasting for a good finish.

@Dane
I’m in Poland, I got this set of rims for about 500zł, which is around $125. I bought the car for 4000zł, around $1000, so spending about 2000zł on painting the wheels is definitely not possible for me right now. I’d love to do it one day, just not now.

@Adrian
The prices I mentioned were for the US, so it might be cheaper for you. It’s worth checking out and getting a quote to see what the range is.
