Hey guys, nothing has changed since this started a while ago with my Honda Accord. The power steering fluid has not decreased at all since I bought more and filled it up when I discovered it was leaking. Turning my wheel to the right produces a moaning sound. Is there a significant issue here?

Grumbling while attempting to turn the wheel typically signifies a failed power steering pump.

Use a flashlight to inspect the reservoir closely, as stains can make it appear full when itβs actually empty.
Check the hoses running to the rack, as they or their connections may be failing. If you donβt see any leaks, inspect the rack near the accordion-style rubber boots for leaking seals. If nothing is visible, add dye to the system and use a UV light to inspect it.
Groaning may indicate low fluid or system stress. You can also jack up the front end and turn the wheel left and right a few times to purge any air.
