My wife is getting this beauty on Monday... anyone else have this model?

It looks new. Are you sure it’s not a 2025?

Yup, definitely is. Sorry, typo.

Awesome. I have the same model and color. You guys will enjoy it.

@Jin
It was a tough choice between this and red. I really like SGP, it was my backup color on my Si, but I went with Aegean Blue in the end.

I was interested in red too, but when I saw it in person, I went with SGP. It’s nice because it doesn’t show dirt. Let me know if you plan on getting any accessories. I’ve bought a few and can give you some feedback.

@Jin
I wasn’t planning on it, but I usually pick up accessories later on. Anything specific you recommend?

I added a VCM Tuner II to help with long-term reliability. I also added OEM splash guards; they do a decent job of keeping things off the vehicle. I bought 3W floor mats on Amazon, which are much cheaper than others and work really well. I also got the OEM rear mat, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s made from cheap material and things slide around on it. Lastly, I added a throttle commander to make the throttle more sensitive, though it’s not necessary. I plan to add tint this spring and maybe some aftermarket wheels. Hope this helps!

I took my 2018 Odyssey to the dealership because another shop stole my wheel lug key. They couldn’t tell me what the new model looks like, but this one looks great! Enjoy! I’m at 160k miles on mine. It’s definitely a fun ride with the family.

Can you share your OTD number for this one? I’m trying to close a deal on the same model and color.

I just picked up a similar Touring model with a roof rack for 47.5 OTD. Hope that helps .

It’s a lease. We’re putting down $7k and paying $475 a month (we were $3700 under on our '22 Pilot that we traded in). They pretty much matched a lease deal we found in Jersey ($5k down, $393 a month), but we’re paying most of what we were under on the Pilot.

@Abraham
Dude, that’s pretty bad. I just leased an EX-L for $490 a month. I paid the first payment plus taxes and tags in NJ, which came to around $2800.

Did you trade anything in?

@Abraham

@Corey
Okay, so I put down $7k (taxes and tags included, sorry if that wasn’t clear earlier), traded in a car with negative equity, and got a higher trim for less per month. If we remove the $3700 I was under on the Pilot and about $2000 in tax and tags, that leaves a $1300 down payment. I wouldn’t call that ‘terrible’ though.

@Abraham
Maybe not terrible, but I still feel like you shouldn’t have to put any down payment. You should’ve tried selling your car to CarMax. Super easy process. I’ve sold three cars to them and walked away with a profit. I sold my 21 EX-L Pilot with 44k miles to them for $25,000 when I owed $20,000. Dealerships don’t offer nearly as much.

@Corey
I’ve had the opposite experience with CarMax every time. They always offer $5k less than I owe. Haha. Either way, my wife got what she wanted. Happy wife, happy life.

That’s crazy. But no matter what, I love my Odyssey, and I’m sure she will too! Safe travels!

@Abraham
You should’ve waited until you didn’t have negative equity. A 22 Pilot wouldn’t have fallen apart yet and would have been just fine.
