Found an awesome deal on this and had to grab it. Can’t wait to start working on it.
Looks like you got a really solid Fit there
Needs a bit of TLC though

Are you thinking about a K24 engine swap for some TLC?

Don’t tempt me with a good time! I did see that idea when I was doing some research before buying it.
@Pat
I’m the worst! I’m doing a swap on my '89 Mustang engine. It was a built 347 with a supercharger, about 645 horsepower. Now I’m going with a 351 block, bigger heads, and a bigger supercharger. My goal is 650 at the tires… Because I’m crazy.
@Dezi
A 347 would be awesome for my 95 GT.
You’ll be fine up to around 550 horsepower, but after that, you might split the block in half. Just speaking from experience with the last four blocks, though.
@Dezi
Lol, I had a friend who broke his crank in half a couple of years ago.
@Dezi
Why not throw it into the Fit?

K24 swap and tune…No chance without real upgrades.
What year is it? How many miles? I almost thought you posted my car, haha.

It’s a 2007 with 168k miles.
A little wax and some buffing, and it’ll look great again.

It’s going to need a full repaint. The old Maaco paint job with single stage looks horrible.

Yeah, it’s pretty bad, but it’s still got charm.

You should consider plasti-dipping or priming it.
Looks great. Congrats .
It’s a base model, but it’s great. I’ve been restoring my 07 base too. Can’t wait to see what you do with yours. Do you have a budget or just doing things as you can? Also, what’s the car’s condition like? Is it manual or automatic? So many questions…
@Dakota
It’s stick. I don’t really have a fixed budget, just going to work on it as I get money. It’s in pretty decent condition mechanically. I’ll keep posting updates as I go.
