I’m considering buying an engine from JDM Engine Zone and wanted to get some feedback first. Has anyone here dealt with them? How was the quality of the engine and the overall buying experience? Any red flags or things to look out for?
Open the throttle and spritz a little amount of fluid film through the spark hole to moisten the cylinder walls. Remove every spark plug to make it spin quickly. Allow the gauge to rise to 3–4* or until the pressure reaches its maximum.
Although your mechanic ought to have done this, he didn’t.
I don’t have personal experiences with JDM Engine Zone but Some customers praised the quality of engines received from JDM Engine Zone. They mentioned low miles and efficient delivery
Hey gearheads, I’m thinking about buying an engine from JDM Engine Zone and wanted to get some feedback. I’ve heard mixed reviews about various suppliers, so I’m curious if anyone has experience with JDM Engine Zone. How was the quality of the engine and the overall buying experience? Were there any red flags or important things to watch out for? Any insights or tips would be really helpful before I make a decision. Thanks!
I once bought a JDM engine for a project car and had a mixed experience with JDM Engine Zone. The engine itself was solid and performed well after installation, but the customer service and communication were lacking. They took longer to ship than expected, and I had to follow up several times for updates. I’d recommend checking reviews and possibly reaching out to others who’ve bought from them to gauge current experiences. Be sure to verify their return policy and warranty details to avoid any surprises.
