It’s all about the small details… Have you ever noticed?

Luckily, the CRV i-VTEC badge fits perfectly with the OEM Type-S badge. Check it out below.

@Morgan
How did you get that badge?

Type-S, you can’t find those anywhere.

Bought it brand new in Japan.

Really wanna get the details right? The JDM Type S has a rear wiper…

@Morgan
Totally forgot about the rear wiper in the animation. It was the last thing I added to my old Prelude before I took it off the road (the harmonic balancer bolt stripped the crank).

Nice!

I have a Euro VTi-S which has the interior trim of the JDM Type S (red-stitched wheel and gear knob, the fake carbon plastic bits, etc.) and I’m thinking about going full Type S conversion.

Over here in Aus, 99% of the cars have the carbon/wood trim (except for the Si). I currently own the red interior, which I love (I’m not a fan of full leather, but the leather bolsters and fabric cushions are great). Haven’t seen a Type S interior in person, but they’re definitely expensive. However, you don’t have to buy the whole interior either.

@Morgan
Yeah, in Europe most are either the wood trim or just plain colored plastic. Heck, even the majority of the Preludes here were also 2-litre F20s.

Up the F20! Our base model is the F22Z6.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the Prelude never had i-VTEC. The K-series was the first engine to get the i-VTEC badge.

It will have a K-series?

Ah, I didn’t know that. If you’re swapping in a K-series, feel free to ignore my comment.

Jeez, you’re going K-series too? Can’t wait to see the ultimate Prelude .
