Is this a good daily car or should I modify it?

I found this image online that shows the car:

I’m curious about whether it’s better as a daily driver or if I should consider modifying it.

Whoa, was the mileage changed? I’m not sure about that now. 195km in 2020 but only 170s km in 2024?

Not to mention it had 205k in 2019 haha. It’s like a Benjamin Button odometer :joy:

Lol, oh man, I missed that, probably because it wasn’t bolded.

Keep it stock and get some good track or street tires. This car is like a time capsule.

It should really be kept in good condition and preserved.

Who cares if the mileage has been rolled back? As long as the body is clean and the engine and transmission are good, just go for it!

The automatic transmission makes this a daily driver for me. It’s not super hard to switch to manual, but it costs money. You can add all the bolt-ons you want, but I doubt you’ll feel a big difference. You’ll notice the $1k hit on your wallet more than the 10-15hp gain. If you really want to feel a difference, go for forced induction.

Changing the cluster makes sense, but did he change it twice? It shows three different readings, all going lower over time. Personally, I’d recommend getting a manual for any 90’s Honda or Acura, but that’s just me. It might not be a bad daily, but definitely pay a mechanic to check it out with you. Worst case, you lose around $100 and avoid a lemon.

It really depends on what you want to do with it. Integras work well for either modifying or using as a daily driver. I’d customize it and have fun with it, then get a Civic or Accord for daily use. I’m no expert, just sharing my thoughts.

@Leander
Yeah, I’m thinking about headers, exhaust, intake, and some cosmetic upgrades. Looking for a fun daily.

You’ve picked a great one; they’re awesome cars!

First thing I’d do is make sure everything is mechanically sound. After that, I’d probably put a JDM front end on it because I can’t stand the quad lights.
