Lots of time, hard work, sacrifice, and a little luck. I started sweeping floors at a dealership in 1999.

How are the scooters selling? I’ve always liked the idea of a scooter-only dealership, but I think margins are slim except for Vespas and high-end Japanese models.

Margins are slim for those too. I do okay with them, even though I’m in a cold and rural area. I mostly sell them with Aprilia and Moto Guzzi.
