Do you have a check engine light? If so, start there. It could also be an engine coolant temp sensor, but that’s less likely. If it’s a coil issue, the car should tell you which one. Valves and plugs are maintenance items, though, and should be done regularly. I’ve never seen stalling directly from valve lash, but it’s theoretically possible.
