That car looks amazing… such a shame you have to let it go.

I know, right? I just spent $3500 a couple of months ago fixing up a bunch of issues. I’m heartbroken to see her go. I just bought an ‘05 Toyota MR2, and I’m hoping it’ll bring me as much joy as the Prelude did.
@Vic
You could do a K-swap on the MR2 and keep some Honda vibes alive .
@Vic
That really sucks, but at least the MR2 is a cool car! I hope it’s just as fun for you.
@Vic
Losing a Prelude is tough; they’re such special cars. But the MR2 is awesome too. Wishing you great memories with it.

Thanks. I’ve wanted an MR2 for a while now. My goal is to own all three generations someday… and maybe import one too.
Man, if I wasn’t all the way across the country, I’d take it off your hands as-is.

I hope someone nearby feels the same way! She’s got so many new parts and still has so much potential.
That’s rough. Have you tried posting it online? The body still looks pretty good, aside from some rock chips.

Yeah, I put it on Marketplace. I’ve already gotten a few offers. I’d love to see someone fix her up and bring her back to life. That would mean a lot to me.
@Vic
I bet someone out there will take the time to restore it. These cars represent a classic Honda era. Hopefully, this one doesn’t end up in the scrapyard.
@Vic
Good luck with the sale! I’d totally consider it if I had the space and time.
Rest in peace to a classic.
Saying goodbye to a Prelude is tough. My dad had a ‘92 that made it past 320k miles and a couple of accidents. It just kept going. Hopefully, the new Preludes they’re making are decent… not that anyone can afford them, though!
Sorry to hear about this. That’s a tough loss.
We need a moment of silence for this fallen beauty.
If the body and interior are still in good shape, don’t part it out. Someone who had one of these as their first car might be looking to buy it. Be patient… it’ll sell.
Sorry to hear that! It might not be too pricey to replace the H22A engine. You could check eBay or local junkyards. Maybe even reach out to Ricky at RaceUp.com in Miami. Have you thought about getting mechanical breakdown insurance to cover future repairs?
What happened to the car?
