I don’t get to drive it enough but when I do I treat it like a cigar and cognac, however I’ll give her a rip soon enough. Northeast weather is to blame

Oh man I missed the 2nd pic!! Awesome! And yeah I get the weather, I’m near Chicago so we get similar.
I miss messing around with riced out cars, revving to 6k like most other cars do, then pushing it to 9k and watching them nearly freak out. Taking corners hard like it’s nothing. My dream was to take Jess to Road America, but in 2008 with me losing both of my jobs, she got repossessed, so I never did. Got her to 157mph on a local track though, maxing out 5th gear

Life happens. The good news for many S2000 former owners who had to get rid of their cars is that the ND2/3 Miata is almost as good (better in some ways) and is cheaper. It’s hard to cough up $20-30k cash for a 20-year-old car that will need work just based on age.

IDK man. I’ve driven the MX-5/Miata about 8-10 years ago and was so underwhelmed I just couldn’t get into it… I’m hoping someday to find a TLC s2000 for cheap lol
