I have owned a 1992, 2004, and 2019 model. The 2004 model had some problems with the brakes, but I’d still highly recommend buying it. You’ll fall in love with it and shouldn’t have many issues. My 1992 had 400,000 miles on it when I sold it. I bought the 2004 with 30,000 miles and sold it at 375,000 miles. I am still driving and enjoying my 2019 model a lot.
There’s only one thing left to do if you can’t get your money back and return the car. Fixing things! You should take it to a good mechanic who will check the oil, plugs, air filter, and other parts of the car carefully. If you take good care of those engines, they will last longer than the cars themselves. Those are great cars, and the engines usually last 300,000 miles without any big problems.
