I’m in Alabama and this deal doesn’t seem great. What do you all think?
This deal is terrible. You should walk away.

I’ve been following discussions here and other forums about non-Tesla EVs. I haven’t seen many deals for 15k miles, but I don’t think the difference between 15k and 10k is more than $50 a month. I’m still learning about leasing, but I think I understand the basics. They said the money factor is .00157, so this is mostly about the price, right?
They just came back with $449.19 for 36 months and 10k miles per year. They also said if I lease from them again in three years, they won’t charge for mileage overage. They’re now working on quotes for 12k and 15k miles. This updated offer includes $3,500 in discounts.
@Kim
We did $379 with $3k down for the Elite version. 10k miles per year on a 36-month lease. They’re probably being honest about waiving overage if you lease again.
@Kim
That’s a lot for a Touring AWD. Do you have other options?
@Kim
$449 isn’t awful. I’m paying $550 for 36 months and 12k miles per year because my credit isn’t great.

Mine is a Touring too, and I didn’t have to put anything down—not even dealer fees.

What’s your credit score? Mine’s about 600, and I’m not sure if I should even try.
@Zorion
Mine was a little lower than yours, around 580 when I got the lease.
The sales manager knocked another $3,500 off, bringing it down to $436/month for 36 months and 10k miles per year (no down payment). When I was leaving, the general manager said they’d take off another $1,500 if I came back tomorrow to sign. If that drops the payment below $400/month, I might take it.
@Kim
I got $3,995 down and $99/month plus tax for a Touring on a 24-month lease with 10k miles per year.
This is a bad deal. Walk away.
Yeah, this deal isn’t worth it.
Don’t take this deal. It’s terrible for a lease.
My wife leased a Touring three years ago with zero down and free charging equipment for $374 a month. That’s in New York with 8.5% tax. I know it’s not an exact comparison, but your deal seems way off.
@Glen
Did she pay the taxes upfront? I’m in New York too, and they said I’d have to pay about $1,200 upfront for taxes.
You can definitely get a better deal. I leased the same car for $396/month in Pennsylvania.
This deal is awful. Don’t take it.
That’s not a good deal. Honda is advertising $259/month with $3k down. With the new incentives, you shouldn’t pay more than $350/month with no money down.
You should start by getting at least 10% off MSRP before adding any discounts.
