I’m considering buying a used Honda for my daily commute, and I’ve heard good things about their reliability. However, I need a vehicle that can handle occasional road trips and light off-road adventures. How capable are Honda models like the CR-V or HR-V when it comes to performance on rough terrain and long-distance driving? Are there any specific features I should look for?
I have 2013 with 260k kms on it. I bought a year ago from a mechanic, who fixed it after it was totalled after crashing into a rock. Starts immediately even in winters, doesn’t burn oil and runs smooth even at 140kmph. It just makes more noise and vibration when idling compared to other cars and has terrible fuel economy compared to new cars.
