Bought a 98 Civic… what mods do you think I should start with?

Does it even have an RPM gauge? I’d install one first since this seems to be the most basic model of all.

I had to do this on mine too. Any higher trim from 1996–2000 Civics will fit, or even first-gen CR-Vs. It’s a super easy job.

And yep, you can use automatic cluster gauges for this too.

Why does this model have that? I have an EX automatic and thought all 6th gens had the same cluster.

It’s probably a CX model. That’s usually the most basic trim.
