You’re better off leaving it stock if you want it to last longer and have better resale value. These cars are a target for theft too, so maybe install a hidden fuel cut-off switch.

If the person who posted wanted reliability and resale, they probably wouldn’t have picked a 25-year-old car.

Here’s a link for a relay with a kill switch for Hondas: Relay with kill switch
The car looks great! Shifter bushings are a cheap upgrade and make driving feel much better. You could also replace the motor mounts if they’re old.

Should I buy from Honda directly, Rock Auto, or do you have other recommendations?
That’s seriously clean. Nice pick.
Skip the cold air intake. It doesn’t help performance or fuel economy. If you’re after real gains, go for a turbo or supercharger.
Awesome ride, mate.
You mentioned air filters… isn’t that more of a routine maintenance thing?

They’re probably talking about aftermarket air intakes.
Carid.com is a solid choice for aftermarket parts. eBay Motors is another good option.
This car is a blast to mod. You can go from engine tweaks to upgrading the seats or even the dash. Have fun!
That car looks like it just came off the assembly line! Keep it stock if you can—it’ll last forever.
This looks amazing! I’d suggest a short throw shifter. That’d be my first upgrade.
Here’s a fun idea: drop it really low, add some ground effects, and slap a ‘La Bamba’ decal on the back with some fuzzy dice for style.
Keep it simple. Cut the catalytic converter and mufflers but leave the resonator. Add an intake, rims, and maybe some tints. Nice ride.
I hope you don’t mess up the exterior of this car. Keep it looking unique—not like every other wrecked Honda.
Don’t forget to replace your lower control arm ball joints. You don’t want to end up regretting it.
Stock is always the way to go.
