Today, my dash lit up with multiple warnings – tire pressure, VSA, power steering, and engine lights came on. Additionally, my cruise control was on but wouldn’t set to any speed. I checked the tire pressures (all seem fine) and the engine and interior fuses looked good. Does anyone have advice on what I should check next?
If you searched this forum, you’d probably find a ton of posts about the same issue.

Have you checked your 12v battery? It’s a good place to start when dealing with electronic issues.
@Kellen
That’s a good point to start with…
For me, it was a bad spark plug.

But if it was a spark plug, that shouldn’t trigger the power steering and TCS lights. It might not be the issue.

A misfire in cylinder 4 caused both the CEL and TCS lights to come on. They haven’t come back since I got it fixed.
@Asher
I’m not trying to argue, but those lights turn on based on specific codes for those systems. A misfire could cause some of these lights, but the TCS one might be related to something else. It could also be something like a loose ground strap or a weak battery. The best way to figure it out is to scan for the codes from the modules.
@Omar
I should clarify: I had just had the spark plugs replaced. After that, the engine started misfiring, and that’s when all the dashboard lights came on. I returned to the dealership, and they found that one of the new plugs wasn’t gapped correctly. They fixed it for free. Thanks to everyone who replied!
@Omar
It seems like the GK fit has this ‘panic mode’ that triggers all those lights when something significant happens. I had the same lights come on due to a misfire, and replacing the injectors cleared everything.
@Foster
I might try unplugging a coil to see if it triggers the lights. Misfires often cause flashing CEL lights.
@Foster
Haha, yeah, the codes definitely tell you everything.
It’s looking like it could be a big problem.
So basically, all the lights are on… Could it be mice?
Get an OBD2 scanner. There’s probably a misfire code. Swap the coil to see if the issue goes away. If that doesn’t work, try changing the spark plugs. If all else fails, you might need a fuel injector cleaning or replacement.
I was hoping I would get here before someone mentioned the battery. But seriously, you need to pull the codes.

When all the lights come on at once, it’s often the battery.
@Darcy
Battery if you’re lucky, injectors if you’re not.

Why would bad injectors cause all the lights to turn on?

I think it’s because they cause misfires so severe that the ECU gets upset. It’s a pretty common issue.
