It’s always a great feeling when you spot your car in the lot. There’s just something about seeing it there that makes it feel special.
I wish I could own one with a k24 swap. Those eggs are gems in my area.

You should try to do one yourself! I’ve owned my ep3 for a year, only have done basic stuff like hoses, gaskets, seals, brakes, fluids, bearings, suspension. I decided to attempt the k24 swap, I ordered an ecu off ebay and sent it out to get kpro’d. Got a 3 lobe K24A from Hmotors, and a stage 1.5 competition clutch. Besides that, crv passenger mount and flywheel/pressure plate bolts are the only parts I needed to do the swap. You have to move your crank pulley and water pump housing to a jdm motor and there is no need to disconnect anything related to ac, it can just chill and hang in the engine bay. Engine hoist from harbor freight was $300 and I needed to rent a crank pulley tool and a bigger torque wrench. It took me three days, in cold rainy weather outside under a canopy. First day was taking the front of the car apart, disconnecting, draining and labeling things with masking tape and a sharpie. Only things I didn’t really see on forums was the fact that you either need to use the vtec solenoid from your old engine, or move a sensor over from it as the jdm engine has 2 sensors on the solenoid, not three and it’s obvious where it goes. Crank sensor needs to be retained as well. That’s it though, I got the car e tuned, and I’ve been dailying it for the last 1000 miles and so far so good. Now I want to find a high mileage base rsx and do it again.
@Lian
That’s a lot of work. Right now I’m focusing on my 92eg hatch with a b20. The ep3 is cool but not my dream build. My dream build would be an rsx type s with a k24 bottom k20 head and itb intakes. Maybe once I get bored of the eg I’ll start looking for a rsx.
@West
I sold my Type S in 2022 and regret it immensely. It’s part of the reason I bought my Si. Much cheaper right now but the EP3 is a bit of a baby RSX.

Ever seen the ep3 with an rsx front end swap? That stuff looks sick.
Love this gen. I’m drooling over this one on eBay. Guy in Florida. 45k original miles. Anybody know any history on it?
Gorgeous Odyssey
As a fellow egg-owner, I agree.
It’s happy too.
