2025 Civic Sport Touring Hybrid – Trunk Tray Fitment issue… Anyone else facing this?

Yeah, as mentioned, that part is supposed to be cut off if you have the Bose system. It’s made like this to fit both setups.

@Lonnie
I was going to mention this too. Just got them for my hybrid hatch and had to cut mine. I trimmed it a bit more and placed it in the bottom of the armrest console.

I was thinking of letting my kids play with it, but I think I might just steal your idea and organize my armrest a bit better.

I always thought it was odd. Looks like I’ll need to trim mine as well.

Looks like the expanded Bose system is causing interference with the Honda Trunk Tray. Some quick adjustments later, and it fits perfectly. Wish I had kept a slightly bigger lip on the side so I could push it under the speaker instead of it resting beside it. Hoping rattles won’t be an issue.

@Briar
I had to cut mine as well. That’s actually what Honda recommends. No rattles here, been over a year and a half now .

Nice to hear no rattles. Haha, I didn’t read the instructions… just noticed that’s exactly what they mentioned.

Same issue here. I just tucked it under for now, but I plan to cut it eventually.

I’ve got the same issue. Still need to get around to cutting it.

Just FYI, this is for the hatchback.

What’s the white part? Mine came with a more basic tray.

I bought the dividers separately. They slot into the mat.

Why bother? You could’ve saved $300-$400 with Weathertech Mats. They fit perfectly.

The OEM mats aren’t that expensive :roll_eyes:

For Canadians? I was quoted about $200 CAD for the OEM Trunk Liner, and got Weathertech for $150. Not much difference.

@Nicol
Right. That’s why I found it funny that you said you’d save $300-$400 with Weathertech vs OEM. A bit exaggerated, don’t you think? :wink:

Sorry about that. I was just trying to say that there are better options than OEM accessories.

My car came with the all-weather floor mats, but Weathertech mats are arriving later today. I’ve tried nets, bins, etc. before for storage, but I wanted to try Honda’s trunk mat with storage dividers that fit into the mat itself. Seems like a neat idea that should work well.
