I had an '87. Drove it to 450,000 km before selling it. The car broke down about a year later because the new owner didn’t take care of it.

My dad bought one of these brand new. I vividly remember the brown velvet interior.

My first car was an '89 Accord LXI coupe. Growing up, my mom drove my brother and me around in an '86 Accord 5-speed sedan. So yeah, I’ve got a soft spot for these Accords.
One thing that bothered me was how the molding faded over time. A friend showed me a trick: spray black spray paint onto a paper towel and wipe it on the black side molding. It makes it look brand new! Just be sure to clean it really well with degreaser first. You’d be surprised how well it works, and it lasts!
This is awesome! I think it would look great with some Prelude wheels.
I used to have an '88 Accord LX-I, but mine was a four-door. Yours looks great too!
