Yeah, I’d say go for it. They might be slow, but they’re a blast to drive.
Definitely, I’d grab it.
Great deal.
If it runs well and passes smog, it’s worth it. Get rid of those Scion TC rims though; even stock rims would be better.
For sure, worth it.
Yes, absolutely!
Maybe $1,500 would be a better price.
What’s the mileage?

220k miles, but my daily commute is pretty short, around 13 minutes.

The commute length doesn’t really matter much—it’s more about what the car’s worth. At 220k miles, maybe $1,500 sounds closer to the mark.
@William
I actually like the rims, but those tires need to be replaced soon. I’d say $1,400 tops.

Those rims are too big, though. They’re heavy and can really slow the car down.
For sure, go for it!
Ask them if the timing belt was replaced recently.
Man, where I’m from, finding a CRX in that shape for under $6k is almost impossible. I’ve seen stripped shells sell for over $3k CAD here (yeah, I’m in Canada).
I’d say $1,500-$1,750. It could use a better interior, a set of nicer rims (E30 bottle caps maybe?), and maybe a color-matched hood.

I need to shop where you are then. Here, if it runs, it’s $2,500 minimum.
Already bought one just like that.
Do it!!
