Does anyone else get this kind of reaction when driving a smaller car? I get it all the time, and it’s honestly a bit frustrating. I know it’s small, but it fits so many things. Sometimes people just can’t believe it .
People say that to me all the time. I’m 6’4, 235lbs. so that probably has a lot to do with it. My wife wants me to get a more comfortable car. She mentions it daily. I, too, would like a more comfortable car, but I can’t justify getting rid of Fit. It’s easily the most practical car I’ll ever own. I commute about 2hrs each way when I have to work in the city. I never have a hard time finding parking, all my gear fits easily, and the car looks inconspicuous enough for me to feel ok about street parking.
But oh man, is it uncomfortable. The angle at which you sit is absurd. Big feet means my feet can’t fully rest flat on the floor, so my heels start to ache, and my tibialis anterior starts to burn after a long day in traffic. I go home and get in our Acura MDX, and it’s a different world. I’m immediately reminded of how comfortable a car can be, and it makes me hate my Fit just a little.
I’ll probably get a new car soon. Wife insists I trade the Fit in so we don’t have any more vehicles. I will not trade it in. I love it. Luckily for me, it’s small enough for me to hide in the garage. The wife won’t have to know it’s still with us.
It’s called a FIT for a reason, cos it will INDEED FIT
If I fits, I shits

I fit the legs of a queen bed frame from Ikea in mine once. It was tight and I had to have the shotgun seat flat, but it worked.
It’s in the name .
