@Orin
I absolutely love the pile of “rice” comments then there’s the single person who actually has experience with this mod and they’re tracking it like a fucking boss lol
@Orin
Thank you man!! I appreciate your reply so much! It’s going to be a nightmare. Fitment will probably be terrible, paint won’t match. You’ll have to get it wrapped to make it match and be in for another 2k plus. If you want to make a car look better wheels go a long way.
@Keir
It’s not hard to color match.
The bumpers will match bc they’re made for the si and sport models. It’s not the actual bumpers from the Type R

Just because it’s made for the car doesn’t mean the fitment will be good. There is literally a person on this thread that said getting it to fit was a ton of work. And paint matching is not only difficult but expensive. IN MY OPINION it’s not worth modding a regular civic. It’s an economy car and it looks pretty damn good without mods. But if OP wants to put the time and money in he should go for it. My logic is why dump like 5k or more into an eco car when you could save that for a down payment on a faster car.

There are always people like you that come on here and say stupid stuff like this. Getting work done to OEM quality and durability is incredibly expensive. Show cars don’t get driven and beat on…
@Fisher
“OEM quality and durability”. How have you been modding 3 decades and don’t know Honda paint is shit? I have chips on my bumper one year in…
I have seen the CTR style bumper for sale online and I would think the CTR hood should fit all Civic models of this Gen.

Yes I believe so but imma go with the varis hood I think for mine
@Marley
The front bumper+trim is on eBay $700-800 range. Fitment might be better with an OEM type r hood though.
Dang that looks nice! I don’t think it’s worth the headaches, considering the other comments.
I’m one of the people who will say don’t do it. But I’m not being mean like the other people. I’m talking from experience…
