Hey everyone,
Looking to tackle an oil change on my Honda myself and could use some tips. What’s the best way to go about it? Any specific tools or tricks I should know about to make the process smoother?

Hallo honda fans,
recycle the used oil you have. Used oil is readily accepted for recycling at a lot of car dealerships and service centers.
To shield your hands from contaminated oil, put on gloves.
Take care not to overtighten the oil filter or oil drain plug.
To make sure the drain plug is properly tightened, think about utilizing a torque wrench.
Check your oil level frequently in between oil changes.
I used to open glass jars with a rubber strap wrench. That was the best workaround I could find, but it was never simple.
I have, however, been using a reusable oil filter made by K&P Engineering on my element for the past ten or so years. Because it is made of cast aluminum and has a socket specifically for it, it is incredibly simple to remove. I’m not going to get religious about oil filters, but I did find that they were easy to remove.
