Saw the cleanest CRX Si at cars and coffee today… anyone else spotted it?

This is exactly how we all wish our CRXes looked. The owner must be so proud.

Totally agree. I’ve been hunting for replacement parts that stopped being made ages ago. I’m even thinking of scanning and 3D printing my good parts to have backups. Hoping some company will start making old Honda parts again. If you hear anything, let me know!

@Franz
There’s someone out there 3D printing a few things, but I think we might need to reverse-engineer some parts ourselves and get small batches made.

I love that it’s not slammed to the ground. Looks way better this way.

Same here. Seeing a well-maintained stock car like this is way more impressive than one that’s been heavily modified.

Exactly. So many cars from the 80s and 90s just get trashed, but this one looks brand new.

I agree with you, though if it’s done tastefully (not slammed), modding can still look great. I really miss my CRX—they were so much fun to drive.

Wow, she’s stunning! So clean.

I used to dream about this car back in high school…

I’ve owned my CRX for 20 years now. Back in 2012, I worked at Honda and saw a customer with a pristine red 1991 CRX Si. He was thinking about replacing it with a CRZ, but his son ended up taking it for the gas mileage. I couldn’t believe it—such a well-preserved car, and now it’s probably driving on gravel roads. Breaks my heart thinking about the ones we lose like that.

Do you know how many miles it has? I feel like I might know the owner.

This is the stuff dreams are made of. Such a beautiful car.

We used to make cars like this. Absolute perfection.

I want this car so bad…

This is how it’s done. Honda nailed it back then—no need to overdo anything.

That car is stunning.

Such a classic beauty.

I drive this car in GTA 5! It’s a beauty for sure!

I’d rather see this any day over a slammed car with crazy mods. Cars like this remind me of how fun driving used to be—especially with a manual transmission!
