My husband and I both work at a Honda dealership in Davenport, Iowa. We’ve had our Prologue for five weeks and have driven about 1,300 miles. It’s our only car, and we’ve already taken it on a road trip. Feel free to ask anything about it.
Will Honda update the Honda Link app to make it more functional for the Prologue? I’ve got the Elite model, and it feels like the hardware can do more than what the app allows.

I’d be happy if it could just respond faster. It’s so slow. I didn’t think anything could be slower than my old Clarity, but here we are.

Yeah, Honda Link doesn’t have as much functionality as apps from other brands. I wish it did more. Honda isn’t exactly known for high-tech interiors or features.
Is there a way to make the parking brake activate automatically every time I shift to park or turn the car off? Sometimes it does it on its own, but I want it to be consistent.

The Prologue is pretty smart about this. It’ll auto-engage the brake if you’re parked on an incline but not on a flat surface. It’s a neat feature.

I don’t think you can set it to do this every time. I haven’t seen an option for it.

I just started a new Elite lease for $680 a month with no money down and no add-ons here in Oklahoma.
I keep seeing these super cheap Prologue lease deals—even for Elites. Am I just getting ripped off, or is there a reason offers vary so much? According to Kelly Blue Book, I’m paying a bit less than the predicted monthly payment.

Leases depend on a ton of factors. I’m not a big fan of comparing deals online because there’s so much variation. Did your dealer explain what rebates they applied? There are usually a few involved.

That makes sense. Some states have extra EV rebates too. I managed to get 7.5% off the MSRP, plus $18,000 in total rebates. No trade-in or cash down for my Touring model.

My state isn’t very EV-friendly, and I didn’t really negotiate much. That’s on me, I guess.
How do I reset the rear hatch?
Last night we tried to open it using the foot-activated method, but it didn’t work. We ended up using the button by the license plate instead, and it unlatched but didn’t open fully. I had to pull it up manually, and now the motor isn’t working when I try to open it.

You might need to check if the ‘kick to open’ feature is turned on in the settings. It’s only available on Touring and higher trims. You’ll know it’s active if a light shines on the ground when you approach the car.

You can also set it to ‘open only.’ There’s an option for ‘open and close,’ but if you stand in the wrong spot, the tailgate might come down on you.

Thanks for the tips. It worked this morning, and I reset the height and switched it to ‘open only.’
I’ve seen mentions of Valet Mode and screenshots of it listed in Vehicle Settings above Teen Driver. I can’t find it on my Prologue Elite though. Any ideas?
