Had issues with this dealer when the Prologues first came out. They had 5 but wouldn’t apply credits properly. Feels like their stubbornness is costing them now. But if someone can actually get into a lease for $3k down and $100 a month, it might be worth it—especially if the residual is close to other 24/20k leases.
Has anyone actually managed to get this deal? I’ve tried with other EVs in this price range, but every time I get actual numbers from the dealer, it’s more like $300-$400 a month with way more down.

They’re advertising it. If they pull a bait-and-switch, a simple letter to the Attorney General would take care of it.
@Uma
There’s probably some fine print hiding the real numbers—looks like this price includes trade-in credit.

Nope, just need a 750+ credit score and brand loyalty.

Says here: ‘Must be owner of a 2014 or newer Honda must be used toward cap cost reduction of new Prologue.’
What exactly does that mean?
@Vine
Yeah, it means you have to own a 2014+ Honda to get the $1000 loyalty discount, and that money has to go toward reducing the cost of the lease.

Got it, appreciate it.

All good

So basically, they’re assuming everyone will use that $1000 for the car, which makes the deal look better than it really is.
@Uma
Fine print probably says something like 3,500 miles a year. Complaining to the AG won’t change anything—you have to actually read everything first.

Where does it say 3,500 miles? Did you even read it?
@Uma
I was just making a point. It’s usually 5k or 7.5k a year. Big dealers like this have lawyers who make sure everything is covered, so the AG isn’t going to do anything. Chill out, no need to be rude.
@Uma
Actually, just checked—it’s 10k miles a year. If there aren’t any hidden conditions, it’s a pretty solid deal.
Should’ve grabbed five of them… one for driving, the rest for when the first one breaks down
Getting tired of all this. Every day it’s either ‘Look at this deal!’ or ‘Here’s another problem with this car.’

That’s how it goes in a forum about a specific car. If you’re expecting a perfect first-year model, this ain’t it.
It literally says in the first line: ‘$2,995 down, plus first payment. $0 destination fee, tags, and tax due.’ So…
