Dashcam. You might be the best driver, but you never know when someone else will mess up and leave you dealing with insurance headaches.
-
Locking lug nuts. They won’t stop a determined thief, but they’ll slow them down and make your wheels less of an easy target.
-
Tint. Helps with heat, protects your interior from sun damage, and makes driving during the day easier on the eyes.
-
Seat covers. Keeps the seats looking new and makes cleaning way easier—just take them off and wash.
-
Screen protector for the infotainment system.
-
Good wax or ceramic coating to protect the paint.

If you live somewhere without much snow, you can probably skip undercarriage protection since there’s no road salt eating away at the car.
@Fintan
I got the dealership’s perma plate coating and the clear film for the front. Already tinted the windows. Looking into a screen protector and seat covers now .
That color looks amazing.

Thanks! Trying to find some accent colors to match both inside and out.
Get a set of wheel locks. The black rims on the Sport models are a hot target. If you want top-tier security, check out Advanced Wheel Locks, though they’re pricey. No lock is 100% thief-proof, but at least it makes it harder for them.
@Darcy
Might be worth it for peace of mind .
Is it just me, or does the car blend into the background a little too well? Took me a second to spot it!
Sand Dune Pearl, right? Super underrated color. Congrats! Had a customer debating this color, but they hesitated too long and missed out.
Saw this color in person when I was car shopping. Wasn’t my first choice, but wow, it looks incredible in real life. Congrats on the new ride.
Got mine in black. Did a PPF coating on the front end, got 3D floor mats, liners for the interior bins, and a cargo bin. Also grabbed a screen protector and an armrest cover. Now debating seat covers.
Oh, and I got a custom keychain. All black, so I call mine Diablo.
Green accents would look really nice with the sand color.
@Dariel
Definitely getting a screen protector and a keychain! Did you go with OEM floor mats or something else? I want to make sure mine don’t block the rear vent for the battery but still provide good coverage. Seat covers and armrest cover are where I’m stuck too.
@Dariel
What’s the story behind your custom keychain?
How much did you pay out the door? Congrats .

$37,634. Got some warranties and extras, so it went up quite a bit.

Damn! Just so you know, it comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, and these cars are solid. I canceled my extra warranties and saved over $3k.
@Dallas
Yeah, I know. The extra warranties I got will last past the original one. I drive an hour each way for work, so I figured I’d burn through that mileage warranty fast.

As long as you’re happy with it, that’s what matters! I got mine in Urban Gray Pearl. Only thing I liked about the Touring model was the sound system, but instead of paying an extra $3k, I’m upgrading mine for $1k. Feels like a better deal to me.
By the way, if you ever change your mind about the extra warranties, you can cancel them and get a refund. The car already has coverage, and the dealership is just trying to squeeze more money out of you.
@Storm
That’s exactly what I did. The dealership never told me it came with a warranty, I only found out from a friend. When I asked, they admitted it but conveniently forgot to mention it when I was signing the papers.
