Honda actually offered that as a factory option, or at least they could install the supercharger for you.

In some places like California, they could sell and install it, but only after the car was sold, and it had to be a separate transaction.

California rules are crazy! A friend got pulled over twice in a Hellcat, and they just couldn’t stop bothering him. That state’s just about getting money from out-of-state drivers.

I got the supercharger kit last year for $7k, didn’t have to pay for the install since I work at the dealer.

I was kit number 46 when I got mine last year, but I think they stopped production after kit 50.

Yeah, it was a factory accessory, but it was really expensive.

I have a first gen Insight, it’s pretty quick. Has a gear swap with an HCH1 first gear, and IMA has some work too. I can imagine this CR-Z is a blast to drive!
