This is the sexiest Accord I’ve ever seen… without the snow tires though. The summer ones definitely look better with the nicer rims.
Can we see the back? Is it a V6?

Nah, it’s got 4 lugs on the wheels, so it’s an I4.

Yeah, it’s an I4.

Love this generation of Accords… but I definitely don’t miss the auto transmission.

Already had mine replaced around 100k miles ago… didn’t really have a choice.

Auto transmission is just alright. Dealing with shifting gears manually every time can be stressful, especially when you just want a smooth, safe drive.
@Arden
It’s not really about that… the auto transmissions on these used to fail pretty often, even before hitting 100k miles.

Honestly, this car handles like it’s on rails, and I’ve been driving it since I was 14. Yeah, the autos kinda suck, but it’s worse with the V6 because it just tears up the clutch packs.

Why do so many people prefer manual driving when it’s honestly just another distraction on the road? Shouldn’t safety come first, especially for daily driving?
@Arden
Genuine question… do you even know how to drive a manual?
@Arden
I wasn’t trying to brag… just saying I’ve been driving it since I was 14, but mostly on private roads and dirt tracks. I don’t trade handling for skill though… just saying.

You don’t have to act like you were so lucky growing up. Not everyone gets to drive at 14. Automatics are just practical for safety… it’s not about racing or showing off.
This looks almost like an NSX!

I used to have a 2002 Accord coupe… one day this older guy in an NSX pulled up and yelled, “Nice taillights, buddy!” We both just laughed it off.
Actually, the rim is just the outer part. The whole thing is called a wheel, which includes the barrel, spokes, and the rim.

Ah, got it… I didn’t know that. Thanks for clearing it up.
Not feeling the coupe… I’ve always liked the sedans way more. The rear on the 6th-gen coupe just doesn’t hit right for me. Sedans just have that classic, timeless look.
I had a ’98 Accord sedan… solid car, even though it drank half a quart of oil every six days. VTEC was there, but not the fun, loud kind.
