Is this rice or nice … what do you think

This takes me back to the 2000s on the west coast. The kit looks like it fits right into that era.

I was just thinking the same thing. Haven’t seen something like this since 2004. Feeling old now lol

It’s definitely riced, but I see your point.

You might call it rice, but the Cali tegs are a piece of history many of us wish we could revisit. It’s pure nostalgia, like appreciating old tech such as Gameboy Colors, Tamagotchis, or Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

@Stuart
I miss my old DA Integra. I tried to replicate an XSi. Had a B16 with the period-correct cable LSD trans, which made daily driving a bit of a challenge. One-piece headlights, side markers, all the OEM parts I could get from H Motors Online. Lowered on Tein coilovers and SW388s. A friend had the same color but in a 4-door. The Honda scene was so much fun in my early 20s.

@Noor
Would love to see a picture of it! I’m a fan of OG stuff like the one-piece headlights for the DA or the bronze-tinted glass for the JDM CRX. I wasn’t old enough to drive until around 2013, so I missed the so-called golden era. As a kid, I was obsessed with the Spoon Sports lineup. Supercars never really caught my attention back then.

@Stuart
Well said.

The license plate says it all.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that lol

I’ve always thought the CL front end conversion made the Integra look a bit off.

Nice Rice :rice:

By today’s standards, it’s rice. Even back in the early 2000s, I wasn’t a fan of Integras with body kits. The DC with the JDM front was the best modification in my opinion.

Both

Also known as the California Type-R conversion. This takes me back to that era. Good times :blush:

It’s not my style, but that’s just my opinion.

You either go for flair or function. The more you learn about mechanics, the less appealing stuff like this becomes.

It would look better without the decal stickers. Still a nice car though.

This is Nice Rice

Clean and period-correct, just not my style. I can respect the effort put into it though.
