Is this Honda Accord Touring V6 a good deal?

I’m thinking about checking out this car in person. It’s at a dealership, and the ad was posted today. The car has a clean title, but I don’t have the Carfax yet. I’ve asked to see it.

2015 Honda Accord Touring $16,955 CAD ($11,827 USD) 134,000 KM 6-cylinder

Is this a good deal for the price, considering everything? It would be my first car! Thanks for any help or advice!

$12k for a less than 10 year old V6 Accord with less than 85,000 miles is an absolute steal in my book. Couldn’t do any better for a first car.

Like if that showed up at my dealership for that price, with that trim package and interior color, I’d have a hard time staying away from the finance department. It’s a desirable, fast, and reliable motor and the automatic transmission is okay too (not CVT).

@Voss
Haha, I should push to see it before it gets sold then! This dealership is reputable as well. I’ll just make sure to see the carfax before purchasing. Thanks again!

@Voss
+1 for no CVT.

Thanks for your advice !! Means a lot !

I owned pretty much this exact car before my civic. It was a great car, and it was surprisingly quick for a family sedan.

Great to know, thanks!!

The pictures look good, the mileage is below average, and the price is more than reasonable especially considering it is from a Honda dealership. Even though the mileage is low I would plan on having the timing belt service done (belt, water pump, tensioner) soon because the car is 10+ years old. Install a VCM disabler, refresh the ATF every 40-65K km, and it’s ready for another 10 years.

It’s definitely not a USDM Accord Touring, it’s missing the radar sensor in the lower grille. According to the wheels, it’s a CADM Accord Touring as the US model didn’t get those wheels in that finish.

@Jay
Those wheels definitely look better than the standard Touring wheels we got

They look like the U.S. EX-L V6 wheels.

I’d love a V6. Mine’s a K20A6 and I love it but to have two extra chonky bois up front would be a dream.

Same here, love my K24 TSX but god I would kill for one of the V6 J series TSX.

Great deal

I own a 2014 EX-L V6 which is the same car minus a few gadgets. Last week a truck drove down the street and sideswiped it and messed up both doors and the pillar. It’s in the shop and I’m begging the collision guy not to declare it a loss. I want this car back. I love this car.

That said. I bought mine for $17k in 2020 at 44k kms. I know the used car market is messed right now, but maybe try to talk the price down a little.

Why no V6 badge on the back? And missing the proper exhaust tip finishers …

I wanted one of these but ended up with a 10th Gen Civic because of the fuel consumption.

What’s that in freedom units?

Beautiful car. I’m not a fan of the 6-speed transmission. I live where summer heat is extreme. Added a transmission cooler and switched to a compatible full synthetic ATF.
