you might be able to start it with a spoon so yeah it could be a steal. But seriously if you’re okay with fixing and maintaining it go for it.

I just got a cb7 for my project but thinking of helping my friend get this one
@Oak
Finding any car for $300 is tough these days. If it’s not too rusty and starts helping your friend could be a fun project.

The car looks great and we didn’t see much rust just a few small spots
@Oak
Is the roof a different color
Not sure but it looks like it
Could be rust what trim level is it Leather seats

I think it’s an lxi or a dx
@Oak
Still a great car for 300 if it starts and has no holes in the roof or floor. It might be carbed though which could be tricky to start.

Might not be a big issue I’m more into carburetors anyway
@Linden
What’s the plan if it doesn’t start
The chances of it just needing a starter and starting right up are pretty low. It’s probably been sitting for years and even if it only needed a starter before it likely needs more now

He’s selling it for a reason for sure

Too bad it’s an auto. If it was manual it wouldn’t even need a starter
Some junkyards pay more than that. Definitely a steal
For 350 I’d take it

Can’t beat that price
I’m no expert but it’s a whole car for 350 seems like a good deal. If it doesn’t run it could still be used for parts
350 is a steal. Battery and starter won’t cost much and if the chassis is too rusty it could still be a fun project
