yeah, I thought it wasn’t that bad but this really put it into perspective

Yeah sorry… Keep saving you’ll find something a lot better. At least they’re upfront, sorta, with all the issues

This is exactly it
Maybe if the price were half that. But used as a rental? No way. That car has probably been used and abused…
10k is too much, maybe if it was 6k
US prices seem pretty high. I’m in New Zealand and bought a 2011 Fit in similar condition for just over $3k USD. That was among the more expensive ones.

Yep. They purposely made things expensive. It’s a country that runs on money.
@Jesse
Eh, it’s mostly just because car prices rose after Covid and never went down. People selling privately think their cars are worth a lot.

Can you still get a new Fit in NZ? Or a Japanese import without too much trouble?
@Lane
Loads of Fit imports from Japan still arriving. Honda only sells the Jazz version new in NZ.

There you go. The Fit stopped in the US in 2020 and Japanese imports are very difficult to find, so that drives the price up.
Seems really high for a 2013. I’d offer 7k or walk away.
As Jeremy Clarkson said, ‘The fastest car in the world is a rental car…because it isn’t yours!’ Do not spend that money on a rental car. It’s probably maintained just enough to make a profit. It’s likely being sold because it’s become more of a problem than the seller wants to deal with.
It cost $15k 11 years ago with zero miles and no accidents. Hard pass. That’s all. Be well, my friend.
I don’t know the details, but I’ve heard the 2013 models had defects.
Oh wow, I just read the whole listing! This is a definite no-go .
So it’s not a clean title? People are charging way too much for those raspberry blues, I swear.
He wants top blue book value for a 2013 Fit with around 100k miles, despite the issues listed, and doesn’t want lowball offers? Yeah, I’d stay away. If it were $6k - $7k, maybe. But it’s not worth $9,500.
