How did someone drive 200,000 miles in just 3 years?

200,000 miles in 3 years is almost 200 miles a day. How is this possible?

Obviously it’s possible but how?

That’s almost 200 miles a day.

Uber or Lyft could explain it.

Or maybe a rental. My friend got a 2016 Kia Rio that was once an Enterprise rental, and it had about 100k miles on it after just one year.

@Dev
Rentals from companies that buy Hondas are odd. Honda doesn’t give fleet discounts, so rentals pay full price or more, which is financially unwise for the rental company.

You can still find a 2022 model in 2021, though it’s still pretty impressive.

I heard people doing medical deliveries sometimes rack up crazy miles like this too.

Some people commute over 100 miles each way to work. It might be a rideshare or medical transport car, but who knows?

I once saw a one-year-old Civic with 250k miles. I’d be exhausted if I drove that much.

I’d need a big comfy seat if I was driving that much, like a 70s Cadillac seat.

I’m a rideshare driver and put 200k miles on my car in 4 years. That’s 50k a year. I wouldn’t recommend it.

That price is outrageous. 200k miles for $15,000? Are they serious?

It’s Carmax.

I’ve heard these cars can last around 200k-230k miles. This one must be in rough shape though.

Definitely an Uber driver. That’s the only way this makes sense.

I thought my 1-year-old Honda Civic with 56k miles was a lot. Guess I was wrong.

I just hit 40k miles on my 2019 Civic. It’ll probably die from age before the mileage becomes an issue.

It could be a medical carrier or a very regular DoorDash/Uber driver.

Only one owner. Wow.

Buying brand new parts for a car isn’t cheap, and if it’s at CarMax, they probably didn’t do much work on it. I personally avoid CarMax.
