So this means every Honda Civic is basically a race car?

A stock D17Y could leave any modern car in the dust at a stoplight.

Saw a K24 valve cover with that quote once… thinking of putting it on my stock TSX just for fun.
Wish Soichiro Honda was still around and running things… things would be different.
Grew up loving Hondas, worked at a dealership, trained at their facility, got my master tech certification. Always said if Honda made a mass-produced V8 for their trucks, it would shake up the market. Their engines are just too efficient.
@Zahir
You think an HR-series 2.65L turbo V8 could be adapted for the street?

If someone has the money and the will, you already know some Honda fans on this forum would make it happen.
@Zahir
Closest thing we got is the Honda Crossroad.
These pictures are really cool.
This looks amazing… where is this and how do I get in?

Pretty sure this is the museum at Honda’s headquarters in Torrance, California.

Honda needs to put a V8 in a production car… it would blow everyone away.
If Soichiro Honda was still here, the 1.5T and NA 2.0 would be gone… V6 would still be in cars.

Not really… Honda always focused on small, efficient, well-built engines. That’s their thing. V6s were mostly for the US market anyway.
@Oakley
Yeah, fair point… but I bet he wouldn’t have messed up the RSX like they did.

NA 2.0 should be gone? Nah, bring back the F20C. You can keep that SOHC V6.
Excuse me… your pistons are showing.
