Just bought my first car and I’m excited. Any tips on what I should do first?
Nice one. First thing—set aside about $1500 for car repairs. Sooner or later, something will need fixing, and having that money ready makes things way less stressful.

Seriously, do this. Open a separate account and put a bit of money in every month. Every car eventually needs repairs.

Even new cars can have issues, so yeah, I’ll start saving for that.

100 bucks a month should be good. Covers tires, servicing, random breakdowns.
Insurance is another thing—how much are you paying?

Mine is about 90 a month, but it covers vandalism, theft, and even accidents if I’m at fault. Feels like a fair deal.

My first car was a Civic too. 2005 Civic Ferio, 5-speed, built in Suzuka. Loved that thing.
Right now I drive a 2011 Murano, but man… Civics will always be special. Enjoy yours!

Some parts of Europe got them. In Spain, some people call it the ‘Galactic Civic.’

Nice! Probably built in the UK. If you check the windows and see AGC, Asahi, or Central, it might be Japanese-built.
