Ever spent hours on a job and suddenly can't find that one forum post with the fix?

This happened while I was recording a video of myself pulling out the driveshaft and checking everything on the van. I had found the info before but when I needed it most, I just couldn’t find it again.

Every Honda post about a d-series before 2003: Just do a b-swap

The classic ‘if you’re looking for a photo, it was probably deleted’ keeps me up at night…

Or that one thread with the exact same issue from 20 years ago… only reply from 2012 says ‘anyone figure this out?’

@Ripley
Or worse… you find a thread from 2018+ and someone goes ‘so-and-so had the answer, they did this back in 20(yy) but they haven’t been online in years’

Even better: ‘Deleting this post because there’s a full thread on it. Search before posting.’ Then you search and there’s NOTHING

@Ripley
One time I saw ‘there’s a pinned megathread in the top bar’… except there WAS NO TOP BAR.

@Ripley
Or the classic ‘edit: nevermind, I fixed it’ from the person who posted the question

Thinking of making videos of everything I do to this van so others won’t have to struggle

Did a k-swap on my CRX last summer. Had a folder full of links, screenshots, and videos. Turned out great, even did a full wire tuck after!

Nah, save the page as a PDF. You never know when the images will disappear

I always forget…

I know that struggle. You’d think there’d be more 2nd gen Prelude videos, but the ones that exist are useless

I wanted to scream looking for maintenance videos on my Durango and Hardbody

There were way too many videos, and most of them were filmed by guys with three teeth and the thickest moonshine-barrel accents

This almost looks like a crime scene

Seeing these little vans jacked up on the side freaks me out. Feels like they could tip over any second
