I love this little car. Feels like there’s nothing it can’t handle.
@Phoenix
Wow, that’s amazing. Did you make any adjustments for it to fit?
@Westin
This is cool. How heavy is your boat? Do you usually load it by yourself or get help?

Thanks! It’s about 50-60 lbs. I usually load it on my own, but having a second set of hands makes it easier. It’s all about finding the right balance.
@Bryce
Make sure to keep it covered if it rains while driving. It’ll save you a headache later.

Good point. I usually keep my internal frame pack in there during late summer and fall trips.

That car’s like a superhero… kneels when it stops and does a wheelie when it takes off.
Nice colour. It really pops.
Might be a good idea to add a bright flag to the back of the kayak, like the ones on logging trucks, just to catch people’s attention.

That’s actually smart. I didn’t think about it since the kayak’s bright red, but I guess better safe than sorry.
@Voss
Yeah, from the sides it’s noticeable, but from the back, it could surprise someone. You wouldn’t want anyone bumping into it.
We might need a new forum just for stuff that fits on top of Fits.
Aubergine Fit looks amazing .
How long is that kayak? I’m curious if I could do the same with mine.

It’s about 17.5 feet. Drove for three and a half hours with it and didn’t have any issues.
Seeing others do this gives me some confidence to try it out myself. I had plans to give it a go over the summer.
