Oh, by the way… it also needs new clutch and brake lines. Can I switch the whole clutch line to stainless steel, including that hardline part?

I think so… I replaced my brake lines with stainless ones and had no issues.

Check eBay, there are clutch lines for around $20. I searched “85 Honda V65 Sabre hydraulic clutch line” and found a few options.

The jets for the front and rear carbs are different, even the emulsion tubes. Take pictures and go carefully when you work on it, it’s easy to mix them up.
