Upgraded my brakes and added a picture for reference. Thoughts?
I have this on my EG. Upgrading to stainless steel lines really improves the brake response.

I’ll order the stainless lines through work with a discount. Which brand of hard lines did you get?
@Neely
The difference is noticeable. I went with HEL custom-made lines since they’re cheaper and easier to bleed than store-bought ones.

Also, you might want the small rings to centre the rotor. They’re only $8 on eBay compared to $35 for the ‘official’ ones.

How are stainless lines easier to bleed? I have Goodrich lines, but I didn’t notice a difference in the bleeding process compared to stock.
@Rory
Not sure why, but when I upgraded, it was easier. With the standard lines, I bled the brakes three times, and the pedal still felt soft. With stainless, one round of bleeding, and it was solid.

The lines make the pedal feel stiffer, but that’s not because of the fluid.
@Rory
Stiffer pedal makes the process quicker. I stand by it.

Fair enough.
Did you have to do any fabrication work? My calipers seize every year, and I’m done with the stock Fit brakes.

The Fit is like my old Accord… you need to grease the calipers every year, or the discs won’t last.

It’s a straight bolt-on. Here’s a guide I found on the Fit forums: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-generation-ge-08-13/79163-diy-big-brake-kit.html
@Sparrow
That’s helpful. Do you know if this fits under 15" wheels? I couldn’t tell from the guide.

I haven’t done it yet. I have stock 16-inch sport wheels, but others on the forum said it works with 15s. Check the thread for more details.
Great upgrade over the stock brakes. Here’s what we’ve done:
- 300mm kit with Renault Brembo calipers for our K20-swapped Fit. It’s 5-stud converted, which opens up more options.
- 280mm Mini Cooper rotors with Spoon calipers for my wife’s daily driver, still running the stock motor.
I replaced the brake discs and pads last month.

I couldn’t find the bigger kit where I live.

I also replaced the rear shocks, bushings, tie rods, axial arms, tires, front bearings, and wheel studs.
