Anyone's thoughts on buying a 09 Accord?

Wish they didn’t burn so much oil. But they’re really comfortable.

They won’t burn oil if you take care of them. People act like it’s a big issue, but it’s only a problem if you don’t change the oil regularly. My 2004 Accord with 210k miles has had zero engine or transmission problems.

Great car, but maybe a little overpriced.

It’s a good car, but at that mileage, I’d say it’s worth more like $4,500.

I have a 2004 with 210k miles and no issues. I’ve only had to replace an alternator and the ignition switch. Hondas are known for ignition switch problems, but I rebuilt mine for $90. After 2005, I think the timing chain changed to a belt, and they switched to a chain again in 2012. Those chains will last the life of the car. I’ve never had any oil-burning issues. Best car I’ve ever owned, and I will always stick with Honda or Acura.

Nah. Honestly, go for a Toyota.

I need a 4-door with a decent back seat for my kids.
