Was checking out the Honda website and noticed the 2025 Accords are now listed. Looks like they changed the EX trim to SE, but everything else seems the same? Prices probably went up, but I haven’t compared yet. Anyone have more details?
Wait, isn’t SE usually the last model year? So does that mean 2026 will be a brand-new design?

I thought the same thing. Hoping this means a heavily refreshed 2026 Accord. But I don’t think a completely new model is coming that soon.
@Tatum
Looking at past Accords, they usually introduce SE trims near the end of a generation. Seems kinda early if 2025 is the last one.

I doubt they’ll cut this generation off after just three years. If anything, it might get a facelift, but a full redesign seems unlikely.
@Tatum
Yeah, 3 years would be short. But if you look at past models, SE trims usually come at the end. Maybe they’ll stretch it one more year to 2026.

Maybe Honda has a refresh planned. They don’t usually do big changes this fast.
@Tatum
Could be. Most Accord generations last around five years, so this one might still have time left.
@Tatum
Maybe they’ll turn the Accord into something like the Toyota Crown—bigger wheels, hybrid powertrain, higher seating position, and glass roof. SUVs are taking over, so sedans might need to adapt.
@Jalen
I could see them turning it into a lifted wagon like the Crosstour to compete with the Outback but still keep it separate from the CR-V.
@Tatum
I’d love for them to bring back the Accord Crosstour, but with AWD this time. That would be my perfect car.

Didn’t they redesign it for 2023? That would make 2026 too soon for another big change.

Yeah, but the 2015 and 2017 Accords were mostly the same too, just minor changes.
@Tatum
If they change it, hopefully they don’t mess it up like they did with the new Civic.

There were rumors that 2026 might be a big change, but nothing official. Some people don’t like this generation, so maybe they’re pushing for a refresh sooner.
I like some of the changes, like rear air vents and USB-C ports. But prices went up again—Sport trim is $760 more than last year. Wonder how that will compare to the new Camry.

Can’t believe how expensive Accords have gotten. It’s crazy how much cars have gone up in the last 10 years.
Hybrid models get heated seats and rear vents now. SE replaces the EX.

Did the 2023 or 2024 EX-L have rear vents and charging?

My 2023 EX-L has both. Some models didn’t come with blind spot monitoring due to parts shortages, though.
