Not trying to be that person, but isn’t the regular Fit already kinda a wagon? The extra window behind the back seats and extra pillar make it look like one.

Not exactly, but I get what you’re saying. A lot of sedans and coupes have small windows behind the rear seats, but that doesn’t make them wagons.
I actually went back to an old Jalopnik article about what makes a wagon a wagon.
Jalopnik - What Makes A Wagon A Wagon
Rule 1: A true wagon must have its own side windows for the cargo area, either separate ones or an extended rear window.
Rule 2: The roofline must extend past the back seats and cover at least half of the cargo area.
By those rules, I think the first and second gens count, but now I’m questioning the third gen…

Fun fact… if you get your windows tinted, it technically counts as an SUV because of those extra windows. Costs more, but kinda cool.
