Anyone else enjoy late-night drives in their Prelude?

Took my '86 Prelude Si out for a late-night drive recently. The weather was perfect and the car just felt right. Anyone else take their car out for a drive like this? Would love to hear your stories!

Love this :fire::fire::fire:

Thank you! I took it earlier in the season, but kinda forgot about it until now :sweat_smile:

How is it driving your Prelude? Do you push it some? Hit corners? Maintenance?

Wow, you have some serious light in your dashboard unit. In my 1985 car, I need night vision haha.

It’s all stock, so I guess Honda did a good job. There’s a dial to adjust the dashboard lights’ brightness, and I usually have it turned almost all the way up.

@Ulises
I wish they never installed those dials for adjustment. Most break down and I’m not gonna take that unit out. Once did it to replace the lights, what a pain to fit it back in again.

I can imagine, hopefully I don’t have to deal with that anytime soon :grimacing:

@Ulises
And no bouncing meter I guess, you are lucky. The 80s and bouncing meters go hand in hand.

This is such a pleasing aesthetic. I wish the late 90’s Civic’s kept these orange lights, maybe I wouldn’t have swapped out all the bulbs by now.

Hell yeah, this pic is great, pure driving joy.

Wow, The View :sunglasses:
