Just installed the Sony XAV-AX3200 from Crutchfield. Took about 90 minutes and everything worked perfectly after installation! So happy with the upgrade, it really feels like a completely new experience in the car.
How do you change the volume? (Besides the steering wheel)

There are buttons on the bottom left below the touchscreen! Getting used to no knobs, and the steering wheel controls still work too.

Looks like there are tiny volume buttons below the screen.

I didn’t even notice that!
One of the best upgrades you can make, especially if you use your car daily.
How did you learn how to do this? I have an Accord Hybrid. Thanks!

It’s not too difficult if you buy from Crutchfield. They provide a detailed guide with everything you need, including a list of parts that fit and what hardware is required.
@Ashwin
Crutchfield has always been my go-to. From my old Isuzu I-Mark to my Beretta and 300ZX. They make installs so much easier. Always reliable!
I’ve been upgrading the system in my 8th Generation Civic. I started with a new receiver with CarPlay, which was amazing. Now I can charge my phone while listening to music. Then I added new speakers, tweeters, and recently a small 8” subwoofer. The audio finally sounds just how I wanted it. Congrats on your upgrade, it looks great!
That’s awesome. Crutchfield is a great company. I’ve been using them for 30 years.
Looks good, nicely done. I did the same thing in my MR2.
Good upgrade!
I wish I could fit a double din in my 87 Accord, but it just doesn’t fit.
I wonder if I could do this with my 2009 CRV.

It can definitely be done. There are lots of options out there. I used a factory navigation surround and installed a double din Android unit with CarPlay. There are plenty of videos online to guide you through the install.
How much did it cost?

It was on sale for about $250 on Black Friday, but now it’s around $350. Then add an extra $50 for installation parts, so around $400 total.
Wait a minute, didn’t the 2018 Civic already come with CarPlay/Android Auto?
I remember when my friend bought his 2018 Civic and he chose the EX model over the LX because I convinced him. It was about $1000 more, but it came with a ton of upgrades. I don’t get why anyone would choose the LX!
